Welcome to the PIONEER Lab at New Jersey Institute of Technology!
We develop human-centered physical AI systems that enable robots to act intelligently and collaborate effectively with people in real-world environments. Our research spans whole-body control for humanoid robots, coordinated intelligence for heterogeneous robot teams, and interactions involving one or multiple humans and robots. By integrating embodied intelligence, intuitive interaction, and adaptive autonomy, we aim to create capable and collaborative robotic systems for everyday life.
